Used Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner
A used Rainbow Vacuum is always a popular option with families struggling to survive in a tough economic climate. Although there is no substitute for taking a brand new shining machine out of its wrapping, and letting it loose on your floor, the durability of the Rainbow means that there is no harm in taking advantage of someone else’s choice to upgrade their model. Although the Rainbow series are all durable machines, the march of progress, and new and improved design, will always mean that there is a healthy market in used machines.
In fact, the very durability of the machines is what makes a used Rainbow Vacuum such a sensible option. The older D models and SE models are still excellent vacuum cleaners in their own right, and only some technological enhancements and an increase in power have made the older models less than state of the art. For many people living in small apartments, or living alone, the older models still represent an excellent choice.
These good, solid quality used Rainbow vacuum cleaners can often be found for sale at online auction sites like Ebay where people who have upgraded their Rainbow vacuum cleaner to a newer model have put their perfectly good older machine up for sale so someone else can take advantage of the long service still left in these fine machines.
The used Rainbow D Models are still great options for people on a budget. Even though the D3 has a lower rate of cubic feet per minute of air moved, it is still more than good enough for most domestic situations. It has a standard hose with a power cord on the outside, so it may not be as convenient to use as one of the newer models. It does, however, have the standard separate tool hose, which is common to all Rainbow models. The D4 is slightly enhanced from the D3, in that it has more power. Other than that, most of the developments were cosmetic rather than functional. Some engineering changes were made, but these were hardly likely to affect the choice of the buyer of either a new or used Rainbow vacuum cleaner.
As you go up the range to the more recent models, you will obviously find it harder to get hold of a used Rainbow Vacuum to fit your needs. Having said that, the vast enhancements which were made as part of the Rainbow E Series were so comprehensive that many people will have upgraded to these, even though they may have had an SE or SE PE already. This means the availability of the SE and SE PE is still good. These models are quite deceptive, in that the change from the D4 model to the SE was relatively slight, and the change from the SE to the SE PE far more profound. With reliability and durability of the Rainbow, any of these models are good choices as a used Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner.
